Joss Whedon is a genius. Everything he has done on television has been successful…except for this series. Dollhouse only lasted two seasons and it was even on the borderline of being cancelled after one. His previous television series, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel” were huge hits, but Dollhouse, despite its interesting premise, flopped. The flop was definitely wasn’t due to the idea behind the show, but probably the execution. The series definitely was uneven. Some episodes were great and interesting while others were silly and did not hold your attention. Too bad. But I’m sure Joss Whedon and star Eliza Dushku will be back soon enough.

Episode 1: Vows: Langton (played by Harry Lennix) voices his concerns to Adelle (played by Olivia Williams) about Echo’s (played by Eliza Dushku) latest assignment in which she is programmed to become a man’s bride, Martin Klar (played by Jamie Bambar) – a powerful arms dealer.

Episode 2: Instinct: Ballard (played by Tahmoh Penikett) is now Echo;s handler and she has been imprinted as Emily, a married woman with a young baby, but her husband (the client) is not satisfied and wants to cancel the order and then get rid of the baby.

Episode 3: Belle Chose: Adelle is conflicted about bringing out of a coma the nephew of one of her company’s major financial backers because the nephew is a sick serial killer.

Episode 4: Belonging: Several actives work together with Echo on an assignment and she tries to warn Topher (played by Fran Kranz) that Sierra (played by Dichen Lachman) is working for a bad man.

Episode 5: The Public Eye: Senator Perrin (played by Alexis Denisof) is going after the Rossum Corporaton, the company behind the Dollhouse and brings Madeline (played by Miracle Laurie) forward as his star witness.

Episode 6: The Left Hand: Senator Perrin and Echo are brought to another Dollhouse after he finds out he’s a doll.

Episode 7: Meet Jane Doe: Echo is still on the run, Ballard has disappeared and Adelle and Langton are furiously looking for them.

Episode 8: A Love Supreme: Despite the fact that Echo is suffering from bad headaches, Adelle won’t wipe her and sends her out on a job.

Episode 10: The Attic: Echo, Victor (played by Enver Gjokaj) and Sierra have been captured and sent to the Attic by Adelle.

Episode 11: Getting Closer: The Dollhouse team gathers together and plots a way to bring down Rossum. Echo decides that to bring them down Caroline must be brought back.
