Poolside shares a new remix of recent single ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ by Milky Chance and Jack Johnson. The track has been streamed over 20 million times on Spotify alone since its release in May.
“‘Don’t Let Me Down’ has that effortless, ‘good time-y’ feeling that a lot of great songs do,” says Poolside’s Jeffrey Paradise. “My remix accentuates that vibe with classic Daytime Disco touches: a funky bass line, sparse guitar, groovy percussion, synths and disco effects. Milky Chance and Jack Johnson both capture that laid back, nothing-too-urgent feeling in their songwriting which is a big part of Poolside and something that I really enjoy across all genres of music.”

This is the latest in a string of recent high profile remixes from Poolside following remixes for Big Wild and L’impératrice. Earlier this year, Poolside released their acclaimed third studio album Low Season, their first record to be wholly helmed by founding member and visionary Jeffrey Paradise. This summer Poolside released standalone single “Getting There From Here” – a collaboration with Daft Punk lead vocalist Todd Edwards – and a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Shakedown Street.”
