Get ready, Deadheads! Dead & Company are marking the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead with a blowout three-night celebration in the heart of San Francisco. The band will take over the iconic Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park on Friday, August 1, Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, for what promises to be an unforgettable musical homecoming.

Each night features a powerhouse opening act to kick off the festivities:

Friday: Bluegrass phenom Billy Strings brings his high-energy picking and genre-bending jams.

Saturday: Country rebel Sturgill Simpson takes the stage under his psychedelic alter ego, Johnny Blue Skies.

Sunday: The legendary Trey Anastasio Band closes out the weekend with a full-blown jam session to remember.

Opening sets will be up to 75 minutes long—plenty of time to get in the groove before Dead & Company take the stage.

This milestone run marks the band’s first Bay Area appearance since 2023 and comes fresh off the heels of their groundbreaking residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. With John Mayer joining Grateful Dead legends Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and more, this trio of shows is set to be a powerful blend of past, present, and future.
